Wild Boar Pulled Pork

Any type of Pork Roast or Loin may be used for this Recipe, but mine is a Free-Range Wild Boar Pork Roast (which you can read more about in my blog). Very lean with the perfect amount of marbling.

Start with a clean Pork Roast or Pork Loin.

Sprinkle a thin coating of Ground Cloves, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder
on both sides of the Pork Roast and place the roast into the slow cooker.

Sprinkle the top of the roast with Salt and Pepper then pour Liquid Smoke and Water around roast.

Set the timer on your slow cooker for 8 to 10 hours on low if you will be away from home all day.
Or for 5 hours on high followed by 3 hours on low if you will be home and able to perform the following optional step.

Optional: After 5 hours on high, remove roast from slow cooker and cut into slices.
Place the slices back into the slow cooker and stir them around in the liquid to coat well.
Reset your slow cooker for 3 hours on low.

Remove pork roast from slow cooker and shred. Place shredded meat back into the slow cooker with the juices. Allow the meat to sit in the liquid for a little while to absorb as much of this flavorful sauce as possible.

To keep this pulled pork Keto friendly, I prefer to enjoy it served over a bed of mixed greens with sliced cherry tomatoes. You may also top it with shredded cheese. If you’re not eating Ketogenic, serve it on a bun for an amazing pulled pork sandwich.
Or, stuff a baked potato with this delicious pork and ENJOY!
